If the Grass-type is unsexy, then the Poison-type is plain fugly. It has two ubiquitous weaknesses, and only one super-effective offensive strength (which is buffered by secondary types on popular Grass-types like Venusaur, Vileplume and Torterra). I know that the Grass-type is unsexy because of all its weaknesses, but it's my favorite type. I always start Grass. To celebrate, here's a Grass monotype team that, if I were a Gym Leader, I'd trot out.

For a while I've been working to breed a Spoink that knows Extrasensory, which can only be accomplished by breeding a Vulpix with a Spoink or Grumpig. My main problem was that the only Vulpix I had was a low level, so I traded with a friend to get a higher-level Vulpix so it would be easier to train to level 44 (where it learns Extrasensory)... but ( Read more... )
